Above The City Cowl is a striking geometric two-coloured mosaic cowl where only one colour is used in each round. It is an enjoyable knit, suitable for ambitious novices who can knit, purl and work in the round on circular needles. For more experienced knitters, this is a quick, relaxing project and stashbuster to gift or treat yourself.

When washed and blocked, the cowl measures 30cm/11.75ins wide x 24cm/9.5ins high, with circumference measuring 60cm/23.5ins.You can increase the width of the cowl by adjusting the cast-on stitches; just ensure the number is a multiple of the repeat.

Materials needed:
3.5mm and 4mm circular needles, 60cm long.

Gauge is worked in the round on 4mm needles.
Stockinette stitch: 21 stitches x 24 rounds = 10cm/4ins square

Mosaic colourwork pattern:
Width: 16 stitches = 6.5cm/2.5ins
