This was my first ever knitted object, so I think the title is pretty accurate. You can use whatever weight yarn or size needle you want. Gauge doesn’t matter.

To begin a new color, simply pick up a new color and leave a long enough tail to weave it in. When you are done with the color, cut it off (again, leaving a long tail; I like at least 8” of yarn to work with).
