Introducing the Acadia Beanie pattern! This knitting pattern is for a must-have accessory for the cold season - the classic chunky knit beanie. This hat pattern is beginner-friendly and knits up quickly using super bulky yarn and large needles. Directions for multiple sizes, from 0-6 months to adult large, are included in this pattern.

This pattern has a unique, easy-to-knit decrease that continues the look of the body all the way to the top.

Materials needed for this project:
• Size US 15 10.0mm needles (use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed below—every knitter’s gauge is unique!) Adult sizes use 16” circular needles. Children’s sizes use a longer cable for the magic loop method or DPNs.

•Adult Large uses 87-90 yds. Super bulky yarn; all other sizes use less

• Tapestry needle to weave in ends

• Scissors

Gauge: 10 stitches = 4” stockinette stitch on larger needles

The pattern is for children’s sizes: 0-6mos. 6-12mos, Toddler and Child (3-10 yrs)
Adult sizes: Small, Medium, and Large
