Note
With MC and CC held together, the cable pattern side is worked first, and it continues to the frilled side, with the part behind the frills in 1x1 rib using only MC. The frills are worked using only CC from picked up stitches. The sides are sewn using mattress stitch. The neck and armhole borders are worked in the round in 1x1 rib from picked up stitches.
Size 1 has V-neck both on the cabled side and frilled sides.
When choosing CC mohair, choosing one with a longer pile will give the ruffles more volume and make them look cute. When worn, the V-neck opens up for a relaxed fit.
