This attractive pattern is written for both dk/8 ply and 4 ply/fingering weight yarns. The blue blanket is made with 4 ply/fingering yarn and the pink one is made with dk/8 ply yarn
DK/8 ply tension: 14 rows and 18 sts = 10 cm
4 ply/fingering tension: 18 rows and 21 sts = 10 cm
The DK/8 ply blanket is made using a 4 mm and 4.5 mm hook.
The 4 ply/fingering blanket is made using a 3 mm and 3.5 mm hook.

Please be aware that if you are using yarn from a different manufacturer, or your tension is a little loose, you may need an additional ball of yarn.

The blanket can be made with any yarn using an appropriate size hook. The stitch count is given so that the width of the blanket can be changed and you would just need to keep repeating the pattern to make the blanket longer.

If you can tr/dc stitches together, this pattern is suitable for novice crocheters. The blanket has a fabulous texture which was really enjoyed by the pattern testers.
