Acer saccharum- the Sugar Maple trees that surround our house, named for the resemblance of the stitch pattern to the tree’s bark.

Acer is a satisfyingly versatile cardi, eyelets and cables, wool and cotton, vintage flavored but modern. It was fun to knit and is incredibly wearable.

Knitting is seamless to the underarms, the set in sleeves are sewn in.

The eyelet/cable pattern is charted.

Requires 780 (910, 1040, 1170, 1300, 1430) yards worsted weight yarn- yardages are approximate as individual mileage may very.
