Acoma (ACK-uh-muh) is a top-down sweater that is inspired by the pottery of the Acoma along with the beautiful skies that you see from Acoma Sky City in New Mexico. For those of you who envy my photo of the beautiful New Mexico ocean shown on the left, rest assured that no roadrunners were injured during the photography session. And note that my sample is long because my torso is long…you can make it your own length!

Miss Babs has Acoma kits here.

Acoma is written to have 2” of positive ease, Two pretty lace panels separate areas of stranded knitting for a unique yoke with scalloped accents. This is a fairly fast sweater to knit, with subtle side seams and a casual fit.
