This cute little acorn is made in 3 pieces: The Cup, the Nut and the
Oak Leaf which are then sewn together.
The nut is made from the bottom up.
The cup is made from the stalk down.
The oak leaf consists of 2 rounds, the first round is a foundation,
the second round makes the lobes.
yarn is Scheepjes catona, 2 different shades of green, and one of brown. Small 25g balls will be enough.
You can use scrap yarn too!
You will need 3mm eyes, or black embroidery thread.
Use a 3mm hook.
You will also need a darning needle, some twine if you wish to hang it, and some strong glue.

You can adapt the size by using thicker yarn. The pattern provided is for a 10 cm Acorn, as a hanging decoration.
