This cap was made to look like the cap on an acorn.

I made this while we were in the process of moving, so the original one in the picture was knitted on pencils (size 10 needle) and pick up sticks (size 8 needle) as my mother had packed all of the knitting needles!

I also used a mystery yarn that I was given that had no ball band. I believe it was Lion Brand Wool-Ease, and the hat used approximately half a ball.
