HOT HOT item for NZ Summer

Ecofriendly water balloons are becoming a big trend and I am very grateful that they are still an item only produced by us amazing handmakers!

So lets keep it that way and dominate the market for them.

Hence my pattern is FREE

The pattern works both for what I call regular and GIANT balloons

Simply double the yarn and size up your hook to make them GIANT

Again I am a loosey goosey and I do this pattern with a 3.5mm but you maybe more comfortable with a 5-6mm and add an extra 2-3mm for the GIANT ones

I have choosen these acrylic balls because they are bang for buck, you can make about 30 water balloons with one ball. They come is lots of great fun and bright colors and of course they are completely washable. Which is a great selling point for the mums out there.

And when its winter time you can play in the bath with them.

Another Mum selling point here - they don’t get moldy like those rubber duckies with holes! Just wash em and they are safe to suck the water out of, because lets face it most kids drink the bath water, its so tasty!
