This pattern specifically contains instructions for four additional unique, beautiful styles of fins. Style 1 is included in the Main Unicorn Mermaid Pattern which also includes the instructions for the body, head, legs, hooves, ears and horn. This Add-On pattern DOES NOT contain instructions for the Body, etc. of the Mermaid Unicorn. This Add-On pattern contains instructions for Style 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Unique Fins and Tails. Style 2 includes instructions for Tail Fins, Side Fins and Dorsal Fins. Style 3 includes instructions for Hoof, Mane, Ear and Leg Fins. Style 4 includes instructions for Scalloped Tail, Side, Mane, Dorsal, Hoof and Ear Fins. Style 5 includes instructions for Hyperbolic-style Mane, Dorsal, Side and Tail fins. This pattern also includes instructions for a front leg without the hoof, so that the Hoof-Fin pattern can be attached easily.

SIZE

A Mermaid Unicorn from this pattern is approximately 11 inches tall from Hoof to Top of the Head (without Horn), about 4 inches wide from left to right side, and about 28 inches long from nose to the end of the Tail Fin. This will vary depending on the yarn you use, your tension, and the Style of Fin you choose.

One pair of safety eyes, for worsted weight recommended 16 mm size
Package of 6 pieces of 18 inch 18 Gauge Paper Stem Wire (Found in the Faux Floral arrangement section of any craft store)

Duct Tape
G (4.25/4.5mm) hook & E (3.5mm) Hook
Optional: Two Standard Sized Glass gems for the bottom of each Hoof.
