The Adelaide socks feature a lively herringbone pattern, accentuated with a bold stripe on the bottom of the foot. There’s a lot of visual interest in this pattern that’s actually quite a simple colorwork knit - there are no floats to catch and once the pattern evolves it’s possible to knit without the chart.

Pattern includes Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large sizes which will result in a 7 (8, 9, 10)”/17.5 (20, 22.5, 25) cm finished circumference when knit at gauge. These socks do not have a lot of stretch; consider knitting a larger size than you’re accustomed to or going up a needle size for the colorwork.

Yarn needs:
~Main Color: approximately 250 yd (230 m)
~Contrast Color: approximately 250 yd (230 m)
Solids or semi-solids with a lot of contrast will provide the best results.
