This hat was originally designed using Caron ONE POUND yarn, but they have since changed the fiber in their red color and I can no longer trust that yarn to produce the correct sized hat. Below is a list of comparable yarns to replace Caron ONE POUND yarn if you don’t have any older skeins with the original texture.

YARN: This hat was designed using Caron ONE POUND yarn, but because of Covid they couldn’t get the same fibers for their red yarn (I’m not sure about the other colors) and the yarn is not the same weight or texture anymore so I’ve had to substitute the following yarns for this hat. Hobby Lobby Crafter’s Secret (recommended), or Red Heart “With LOVE” #4 medium worsted Weight.
