This pattern was designed as the 3rd Annual Mini-Clue KAL in the Never Enough Lace forum. The KAL is scheduled to start on January 22nd. Anyone purchasing this pattern prior to January 22nd will receive an Introduction to the design that includes yarn usage per section. Beginning January 22nd, a new mini-clue will be automatically added to your library each Friday.

The price of this pattern will be reduced to $6.00 during the Introduction through January 22, 2021. After that date the price will be increased to $7.50.

This asymmetrical wrap was designed to be the ultimate stash buster for leftover fingering or sock yarn or those beautiful Advent Yarn Calendar skeins that are languishing in your stash. The wrap includes a collection
of twelve different stitch patterns. Each section is separated from the next by a six row design. In this sample, I used the same color yarn for every divider section.

For those who would like to make a longer wrap, a recipe is provided at the end of the pattern to add additional garter rows with an eyelet divider (see last paragraph).

The finished measurements of the sample shawl are 85”/216cms in width and 36”/91cms in depth.

All pattern instructions are written. Small sample charts are provided at the end of the written instructions to show how the repeat sections of each stitch pattern present themselves in the wrap.

This shawl can be knit with any number of colors, a minimum of two is recommended. Samples have been knit in a gradient set, a six color yarn set and a self striping yarn. The maximum amount of yarn needed for each individual section is less than 20g/86 yds. A chart is provided in the Introduction to aid you in planning the colors you will use for your shawl.

Explanation of the Lengthening Recipe (Final Clue)
Some of you have asked about the twelfth color mentioned in the beginning of the pattern, under yarn usage. The last color was used in the Final Section, which is a “lengthening recipe.” The last section can be worked as many times as you like and will add an additional twelve rows (or three stitches) to the length
of the shawl.

I worked each twelve-row section with four different colors (A, B, C and D), allowing me to use some of the
small remnants from the other sections. You can use as many different four color combinations as you like. The section was worked as follows:

• Color A 2 rows
• Color B 2 rows
• Color C 2 rows
• Color D 6 rows

I used my twelfth color repeatedly for Color D in my Final Section. I worked a total of four repeats of the “lengthening recipe.”
