Self-made advent calendars are the best! In this pattern you’ll get instructions for 6 different variations of advent calendar bags, all knitted in cable stitch. You should have a little experience with cable stitch, but generally the pattern is beginner friendly. There is a chart for each cable pattern as well as written instructions. The bags are knitted flat and then seamed on each side. For a nice finish you’ll work crochet stitches around the top.

Estimated yardage for 25 bags: 3,410 m / 3,730 yard
Estimated yardage per pattern for one bag:
•Pattern 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5: 140 m / 150 yard
•Pattern 6: 125 m / 140 yard

I used 100% DK Cotton Yarn for my bags. If you use a different type of yarn, just remember that the dimensions of the finished bags may differ.
