Choose your own adventure and use this pattern as your trail guide for creating your OWN adventure socks!
Materials
Yarn
The adult sizes will use close to the full amount: the toddler/child sizes will use less. Yarn usage also depends on length of leg/foot.
- 100 grams of wool or wool/nylon blend yarn (fingering weight: approximately 400 yards; DK weight: approximately 245 yards)
- 20 grams of wool or wool/nylon blend yarn, if a contrast bit is desired!
Needles
- 32” or longer circular needle (fingering weight: US 2 / 2.75mm; DK weight: US 4 / 3.5 mm)
Notions
- Tapestry needle (to weave in ends)
- Locking stitch markers or coilless safety pins (for marking rounds)
Gauge
Fingering weight: 32 sts = 4” knit in the round
DK weight: 26 sts = 4” knit in the round
Size
Toddler (Kid, Adult S, Adult L)
6” (7”, 8”, 9”) circumference of finished sock. Choose a size with a bit of negative ease.
