You ever read a choose-your-own adventure book? Now you can have a choose-your-own adventure shawl!

Adventurous is a recipe to make the shawl in whatever order you like! Each section is 30 rows long (with the exception of the large triangles, which are double) and can be knit in whatever order you like. You can even switch your colors around to whatever tickles your fancy.

Skill level for the shawl varies, depending on which sections you choose to do, and can start from beginner (sporty stripes, 1/3 and 2/3 stripes), to adventurous beginner (brioche), to intermediate/advanced (triangles).

A schematic of sections used in the original shawl is included with the pattern if you would like to follow my adventure instead of embarking on one of your own.

(WARNING: the original took nearly all of both skeins of yarn used. One color ended up with a ball about the size of a walnut, the other about the size of a small plum)

Yarn used:
Kyla’s Lab Play in Tourmaline and Plum Crazy

Stitches Used:
Beginner level sections: knit, ssk
Adventurous beginner sections: yo, slip 1, brioche knit
Intermediate/Advanced sections: pick up one to the right, pick up one to the left, make one right, make one left, central double decrease
