Aegolius is a lightweight, sleeveless top featuring a feathered lace along the hips. This pattern is an homage to the boreal owl, Aegolius funereus, an owl that used to sing outside my tiny cabin. The pattern is knit in fingering-weight yarn, perfect for a light, summer top! The lacework instructions are provided in both written and charted formats.
