Turquoise is by far my favourite colour on the planet. This beautiful cape is knit in two shades, that when placed beside each other, make my mouth water. How can blue look warm? It has such a vibrant heat to it that I can’t stop looking at it

This cape is my own design, especially for layering, and I love it. Now that Winter is definitely here, I will be wearing this as a shoulder cosy indoors and possibly over my coat out of doors. I think it will look well in either situation.

Aer is knit from the bottom up, starting with knitting the edging strip back and forth on two needles. The edges are grafted together and then the stitches for the body are picked up and knit in the round from the strip of edging.

The pattern in charted.
