Designed for Circus Camp Loopy 2021.
A long scarf, worked sideways with a swooping, lacy edge. Lots of garter stitch to show off a highly variegated yarn.

Companion to the Aerial Act Shawl which is wider and has additional stripes of lace with stockinette, and a more ornate finishing edge.

Like many scarfs and shawls worked in this manner, gauge is not paramount as long as you like your fabric.

I used up nearly all of my skein. To prevent a game of “yarn chicken”, weigh your yarn as you go, noting how much you’re using per repeat. When you have enough for one more repeat plus enough to bind off, work the Final edge.

yardage: approx. 570yds
