Aesculapius, the son of Apollo, was the Greek God of medicine.
His symbol is a rod with intertwined snakes, which represented change , rebirth and fertility (and also knowledge, according to later traditions).
According to the myth Aesculaipus’ rod had healing powers and could heal any disease with just a touch.
This scarf represents Aesculapius’ rod with cables and is suitable for intermediate knitters or adventurous beginners (even if you have never worked with cables before).
Perfect for a gift to Medical personnel!
