This pattern is available from etsy.com for $5.00.

The block, as I have it pictured, functions as the front of a bag, but you can use it for just about everything from pillows to sweater fronts.

This pattern can also be used for cross stitch, bead sprites, needlepoint, latch hooking, and beading.

Gauge is not really important with this pattern. The finished size will be about 13 1/2” (L) by 13 1/2” (H).

You will need a skein of Cafe (MC)
Black (A)
Hunter Green (B) and
Cherry Red (C)

If you want to make the block bigger, you only need to adjust the number of background rows. For example, you can add 5 to 10 rows above and below the actual cherry pattern and add 5 to 10 stitches on either side of the pattern.

For the finished product pictured, I have (9) background rows on either side of the silhouette and (1) background row on top.

This would also look really good done in wool and felted.
