African Hoopoe Bird
You can watch these sweet little birds bobbing up and down in the grass all day long, and let all your cares drift away. This pattern is worked in the round, except for the top end of the tail, that is worked flat. In this purchase, I include a helpful WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW section with all the information you need if you’re new to amigurumi, but intermediate crocheters will have no problems at all.
You will need 100g of any DK or worsted type of yarn in orange, 25g each of of black and white and a 3.75 hook.
Final Size Sitting : 10 inch (26 cm)
Width from beak to tail : 9.5 inch (24 cm)
You will need to know single crochet, how to crochet in the round and how to crochet flat, slip stitch, increase and decrease and how to sew the pieces together.
