After Dark Socks bring the deep color of a night sky to a pair of crocheted socks you can wear long after
the lights go down.

This cuff down crochet sock pattern pairs a dark main color at the cuff, heel, and toe with a bright contrast
shade that flashes through the leg and foot. The two colors give the socks a finished, deliberate look
without asking you to follow a full colorwork chart.

Worked in fingering weight yarn, After Dark Socks stay slim enough to wear inside your regular shoes
while still giving you the warmth you want from a handmade sock. The cuff down construction begins
with the ribbed top, then moves through the leg, heel, foot, and toe.

Choose a main color as dark as you like, then pick a contrast that wakes up next to it. Or pull two shades
from your stash and make your own version. The pattern gives you a clear path to follow and still leaves
room to make the socks feel personal.
