I think super squishy, textured mitts are one of the most satisfying things to wear on a cool day. And I love how the lines in this motif really highlight the subtle differences in a hand-dyed yarn, which only adds to the wavy squish factor on these long, fingerless mitts!

The simple rhythm of the pattern and the straighforward design make for a fun, quick knit. And those lines also make for a distinct and beautiful transition at the ribbing and around the thumb gusset.

One skein of yarn makes a nice, long pair of mitts, with a deep cuff that can be worn as shown or folded back.

Notes are included in the pattern if you want to modify for length or width.

The sweater worn with these mitts is Mango Smoothie
