Inspired by snowy slopes and Après-Ski style, this plush headband is designed to let the yarn take centre stage. It is easily paired with a variety of outfits while maintaining an elegant look.

Circumference: 22 (23.25) / 55 (58.5) cm.

MATERIALS
Yarn:
Yarn 1: Børstet Alpakka by Sandnes Garn (96% alpaca, 4% polyamide, 120 yds / 110 m – 50 g), 1 (1) skein in the colourway Monk’s Robe.

Yarn 2: Ballerina Chunky Mohair Sandnes Garn (77% mohair, 18% wool, 5% polyamide, 148 yds / 135 m – 50 g), 1 (1) skein in the colourway Monk’s Robe.

The headband is worked holding one strand of each yarn together throughout.

Alternative yarn suggestions are for example Puno by Gepard or Snefnug by CaMaRose (for yarn 1) and Ombelle by Fonty, Tynn Silk Mohair by Sandnes Garn (held double) (for yarn 2).

Needles: US 10 / 6 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needles.

Notions: Stitch marker.

GAUGE
12 sts x 19 rnds to 4” / 10 cm on US 10 / 6 mm needles in St St with two yarns held together, after blocking.

CONSTRUCTION
This headband is worked seamlessly in the round in Stockinette Stitch, holding two strands of yarn together throughout. Once complete, the piece is folded in half and the edges are sewn together to finish.
