Pattern notes
This cardigan, with its nifty integrated edging, involves minimal finishing and is worked from the top down. First, the back shoulders are cast on and worked down to the underarms. Each front is picked up separately from the shoulder piece, and worked in a twisted stitch pattern to match the back. At the underarms, the three pieces are joined and worked back and forth to the knitter’s desired length, before two sleeves are picked up and worked from the top down.
