There is a rainbow of hope at the end of every storm

Dec 11th:The original pattern file omitted sleeve instructions in error. They are now included in the pattern file ‘After the Storm 11.12’. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this error.
Gauge given in pattern is per 10 cm / 4”. This was omitted in error, & will be updated
Button band instructions should read “3 sts for every 4 rows”.

After the Storm hat & cardigan set, sized for approximately 0-3 months. The cardigan is a top-down raglan with a textured yoke of coloured stripes. It features waist increases to accommodate bulky baby bums and is finished with applied button bands. The cardigan body is worked flat, & sleeves are worked in the round.
The cardigan measures 44 cm / 17.5” at chest; 16 cm / 6” from underarm to hem.

The hat is worked from bottom up, in the round, and features matching stripes. It measures 33cm / 13” circumference.

Hat & cardigan are modelled by an 8lb newborn with sleeve cuffs & hat hem turned up.
