Green Sample has 4” of positive ease. Blue Sample has 6” of positive ease. I recommend choosing a size that will give you 2-6 inches of positive ease
Construction:
The Afterglow Pullover is worked top down, starting with the 2x2 ribbed mock-neck, followed by the saddle shoulder, with short-row shaping for the neck. The shoulder stitches and front stitches are then placed on hold and the top of the back panel is worked flat, followed by the front panel. The underarms are cast on and the rest of the body is worked in the round and finished with ribbing. The armholes are then picked up and worked in ribbing with some short rows to reduce bulk under the arm.
The design features purl columns that run from the neck through the shoulders and bottom edge of the garment, giving it a clean and subtle sense of continuity and connection.
Techniques:
Knitting in the round, ribbing, increases & decreases, German twisted cast on, Icelandic bind off, picking up sts, German short rows
Please note:
This pattern has been technically edited and tested. Unfortunately I was unable to find a tester for sizs 10 & 11. I do not anticipate there being any errors specific to these sizes. However, if you intend to knit a size 10 or 11, please message me on Ravelry, Instagram, or email and I am happy to provide a copy free of charge if you are willing to send me finished measurements upon completion.
I want this pattern to be as size inclusive as possible. Please reach out if there is not a size that accommodates you and I would be happy to extend the sizing.
