AGAPI is knitted in circular using 2 yarn bases and with delicate lace sections

NOTE ABOUT YARN
Instead of usin a Sport yarn base for the border, you can use a “fingering single” yarn base but you will need to knit 2 strands together in order to have the adequate gauge
In addition, it is IMPORTANT to note that mohair is held double (2 strands knitted together)

RECOMMENDED YARN
--- 1 skein of Madelaine & Filibert : “Merisport” - Yarn A ---
100% SW merino - 100 gr / 262 mt / 287 yd
Colour : Nairobi
You will use approx. 47 mt /51 yd

--- 1 skein of Treliz Colorispower : “Poseidon” - Yarn B ---
72% Mohair and 28% Silk - 50 gr / 420 mt / 459 yd
Colour : Careless Whisper
You will use approx. 236 mt /260 yd
Important Note : mohair is held double (236 mt = 118 mt x 2 / 260 yd = 130 yd x 2)

GAUGE
For Yarn A : 10 cm x 10 cm (4 inches x 4 inches) = 24 stitches and 28 rows
(Note : sample knitted in jersey, with needles no. 4 and not blocked)
For Yarn B : 10 cm x 10 cm (4 inches x 4 inches) = 20 stitches and 22 rows
(Note : sample knitted in twisted stitch, in mohair held double, with needles no. 5 and not blocked)

MEASUREMENTS
Before wet blocking : 44 cm (circumference from begin of knot/lace stitch section) x 24 cm (total length)
This beanie hasn’t been blocked given that its measurements are already “ slouchy” type

Happy Knitting
