A bottom-up, crescent-shaped scarf with a touch of the North celebrating loons, lakes, and wild rice.

Size: Adult. Finished measurements depend on blocking, but are approximately 10 inches (40 cm) deep and 72 inches (180 cm) across.

Needles: One US #3 (3.25 mm) circular needle or size needed to match gauge. A 24-inch (60 cm) needle is the minimum length feasible, but longer will be more convenient.

Gauge: 7 sts/inch (2.5 cm) measured over unblocked stocking stitch on US #3 (3.75 mm) needle (exact gauge is not crucial).
