Frederick Douglass’s last words were, reportedly, “Agitate, agitate, agitate!” I designed this toque for a friend, a scholar who works on Douglass’s writing and activism. Times being what they are, we all need a craftivist toque! This toque is knitted in the round, with the lettering added in duplicate stitch afterwards.
