This pattern is dedicated to all people, who are careful with our natural resources.
Agricola is Latin and means farmer. At the leg of Agricola socks you can see different types of grain. After the short row heel in contrast color, you knit the foot in stockinette stitch. Before you start the toes, a colorwork band shows a seed lying in the ground and sprouding.

Foot circumference 7.3/8.5/9/10“//18.5/21,5/23/25cm
Gauge: 34sts/42rnds = 4“/10cm in stst with needle size US 1 ½ /2.5mm.
Yarn: Sock yarn in 3 colors
Yardage: total app. 75-100g (depending on your foot size and leg length)

S/EUR 40:
C1 (yellow) 20g,
C2 (gray) 20g,
C3 (dark blue) 40g

Needles and tools: dpns size US1 (2.25mm) and 1 ½ (2.5mm) or long circular needles same sizes, tapestry needle, scissors, 2 stitch markers (optional).

Nach der Ferse in Kontrastfarbe strickst du den Fuß glatt rechts. Kurz vor den Zehen wird noch einmal ein Colorwork-Band gearbeitet. Es zeigt ein Saatkorn, das in der Erde lieg und keimt.
