Pattern accessibility There are three versions of this pattern pdf available. Print (3 column), mobile, and low vision.

The mitts are worked from wrist to knuckles with very simple thumb shaping worked into the colourwork pattern, which echoes the patterning on the hat with allowances for the different shaping. The thumbs are placed on each mitt so that the jog at the beginning of the round is on the palm side, but this is subtle and, as there is no thumb gusset, wearing a mitt on the wrong hand is no big deal.

The extended ribbing at the knuckles can be folded back when you need to use your fingers or unfolded for extra warmth.
