A nautical inspired hat pattern with options on having a working button hole, or no button. The brim is worked flat and then hat is joined in the round once button band is complete. Available in four sizes baby (14”) toddler(16”) child (18”), adult (20-24”)
materials needed: US #8 / 5mm 16” circular and double pointed needles, a cabling needle, a darning needle, optional:1 (5/8”) button.
Worsted / Aran weight yarn: 70 (90, 110, 150) yards and about 1/2 yard of each contrast color for life ring-
CC for wave pattern -10 (10, 15, 20)yds of CC
For stripes- MC- 40 (50, 60, 80) yds. CC-30 (40, 50, 70) yds.
