Aino socks are the first pair of socks for 2026 Summer Sock KAL!

They are delicate, very romantic and full of lace. Knitted from toe up to decorative cuff.
Socks have a good fit with a gusset and the heel is worked with short rows.

One size - ideal for foot circumference of 20–21 cm. For other sizes I recommend to change the gauge. Foot and leg length are adjustable.

Gauge: 30 sts in 10 cm of stockinette stitch with 2,5 mm needles

Needles: the socks are worked on circular needles: 2,5 mm needles for the main part of the sock (choose the needle size that gets you close to the gauge or the size you want.),
2,25 mm needles (or smaller needles) for the cuff.

Yarn: any fingering weight or 4ply sock yarn, the original pair is knitted with Kalevalanka sock (color Nuppu), approx. 270 m.

Notions: stitch markers, sewing needle for weaving in ends, sock blockers if you wish.
