There’s nothing new about a wrap-around cardigan with an intarsia guitar design. But if you work the guitar fretboard up a sleeve, suddenly your baby can play air guitar!
This cardigan combines a unique construction with the fun aspects of a baby knit. The front pieces are knit diagonally to allow for easier intarsia work, and shortrows in the sleeves create lots of give for baby elbows. Stretches of plain knitting are punctuated by colourwork, shaping, and i-cord finishing. Meanwhile, the wrap-around and side-fastening design makes for easy dressing and undressing.
