Aire is a cropped cardigan using traditional Gansey elements in a flattering contemporary style. It is a seamless top-down yoke cardigan which is knit flat. There are short rows at the back of the neckline to create a comfortable fit, and then there are pine trees worked in purl stitches around the yoke, followed by a string of bamboo stitching. The remaining yoke, body and sleeves feature zigszags and diamonds created with purl stitches, as well as small cables. There is optional waist and hip shaping, and the hem and cuffs are finished off with ribbing.

The front of the cardigan has buttonbands that are worked in ribbing and has 6 buttons.
