A scarf that was inspired by the Goddess Airmid, the Celtic goddess of healing and all things green and alive. A lovely simple pattern great for beginners and experienced alike. I knitted this scarf during my daily walks as the pattern repeat is easy to remember and you can get into a rhythm very easily.

Materials: Malabrigo Sock Yarn 100% Superwash Merino. 440 yds approx. / 3.5 ounce skein. 4.5-5.5 sts per inch on US 6-8 needles in color Solis

Knitting Needles: size 11 needles (you can use smaller if you like but that will make a more tightly woven scarf. I wanted an airy feel for this one)
Tapestry Needle

Gauge: Gauge is not essential for this pattern. Depending on the needles you choose and how tight or how airy you want to the stitches. For this exact version my gauge was 4 sts per inch in stockinette stitch.
