The size of the finished toy may vary according to the yarn thickness, the hook size, and your tension. Akira the Explorer that I made is about 12.5 cm tall. The car dimension is 13.5 cm x 9 cm (wheel-to-wheel width).

Tools and Materials needed:

• 2.5 mm hook
• Cotton yarn in sports weight (50 g – 125 m)
• Fiberfill
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Safety pins
• Cardboard or plastic sheet or plastic canvas sheet
• 5 mm or smaller safety eyes (optional)
