The name of the socks originates from a certain song of the Finnish band Egotrippi. The chorus of that song begins roughly as “Hey, do never ever change, always remain the same as you are now”, hence the English name Do Never Ever Socks.

Please note that the old pattern version for sport weight yarns has been removed and replaced by a revised and extended pattern for fingering weight yarns.
