Alaskan Moonflower
Alaskan Moonflower is an Icelandic yoke sweater that has a simple but beautiful pattern. Alaskan Moonflower is knit from the top down with fingering weight yarn. As it is being knit from the top down sleeves can be knit to any length you wish. This top is available in bust sizes 28-64 inches
CONSTRUCTION
Although Alaskan Moonflower is based on the tradition of Icelandic circular yoke sweaters, it is knit in the round from the top down. With options for short sleeves or long sleeves, and waist and bust-shaping this pattern works for every figure. Short rows are worked on the back of the sweater to bring the front of the collar lower than the back. The ribbed collar is worked, and then the beautiful stranded yoke, the hemline is finished with JSSBO.
FIT
Sweater is designed to be worn with 1-4 inches of positive ease. Choose the size that is 1-4” larger than your actual bust measurements.
