“Albastra” means The Blue One, in my native language. A blue silky summer top for any summer loving girl!
Malabrigo’s stunning colors bring it to life but you can use any DK yarn to your liking.

The top is worked flat and it involves no shaping - the waist shaping is created through working the Fair Isle section by picking up stitches along the vertical edges of the front panel. The natural tendency of the fabric to be tighter gives the whole garment its natural drape and shapes it.
If you need to alter its size, it’s only the back that’s altered, which is a simple rectangle, and the length of the straps.

It’s designed to be worn with a positive ease and lots of silky drape so, perfect for summer days and warm evenings!

The pattern’s both charted and written, with - I hope - clear explanations for each section.

Materials needed are :

• 4 x 50 g skeins of the MC and one for each of the Fair Isle color sections. (The whole top weighs only 220-250 g so you’ll be left with quite a bit of yarn from those extra skeins! )
• 4mm needles, straight or circular
• cable needle

Featuring cute bobbles on the side, it’s probably going to be a joy to create!
