This stranded hat is the fourth in a series of 12 patterns that form my Canadian Art Deco Knits e-book. You can buy them individually or as part of the e-book.

The inspiration for this pattern is the amazing Albert Street Bridge in Regina. My aunt sent me a picture of this Egyptian-inspired bridge with its multi-colored columns and right away it had me thinking about how to do this in stranded colorwork.

This pattern used 8 different shades of Jamieson & Smith 2 ply jumper weight yarn:
C1: FC38 (orange-brown)
C2: 125 (orange)
C3: FC07 (salmon)
C4: 118 (green)
C5: 29 (green/blue)
C6: 141 (blue)
C7: 28 (dark yellow)
C8: 66 (light yellow)
