This is a lightweight pullover perfect for the cool summer evenings in Alberta. My samples were made with rustic yarns, Custom Woolens single ply for the grey sample and custom Woolens 2 ply sock yarn for the dark pink sample. The dark purple version was made with Briggs & Little Soort, however, this pattern will work well for most fingering weight yarns and most fibres. It’s meant to fit like your favourite weekend sweatshirt so leave 2 to 6 inches of positive ease.
This is a good project for a beginner sweater knitter as the lace is very simple and there’s minimal shaping. German short rows are used to lower the front neckline.
