Inspired by Alaska’s wild mountain streams, Alder Creek is an easy to knit lace cowl that will snuggle you in warmth all winter long. Wear it on the ski trail, walking the dog, or out with friends. Knit in a qiviut-blend sport weight yarn, Alder Creek Cowl also works up nicely in other yarn weights from fingering to aran. It’s a great option for a luxury yarn in a solid color or a hand-dyed semi-tonal shade. This pattern includes both written directions and a lace chart, along with notes for adapting to other yarns.
