Aldona is a stunning asymmetrical triangle shawl. It has intuitive, fun construction, lots of garter stitch and a touch of lace (both charted and written out).

Materials
Fingering weight yarn, which gives you correct gauge in four colors:
about 380m/420ya in color A and about 380m/420ya in color D,
about 80m/87ya in color B and about 80m/87ya in color C.
Sample was made with Meme Yarns Single Merino 2 skeins in color
58 Vibrant and 60 Beetle and 2 mini skeins in color 20 Cornflower
and 27 Vibrant Green.

Recommended needle sizes
4.0mm/US #6 circular needles

Gauge
17 sts x 44 rows over 10 cm/4” in Garter St measured after blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the
finished size as well as the required yardage.
