…………………………………………………………………………………………

Sweet Alfie is knit from a wool yarn and a synthetic fluffy yarn held together in the round from head to rear. Stitches are picked up from around openings to knit the snout and legs. Alfie is then felted in a washing machine- the resulting fabric is soft and durable. Post-felting, Alfie’s eyes are installed, his tail assembled, and his face and toes embroidered. Finally, he is stuffed with fiberfill, and his rear flap sewn closed.
