Alice (so called because the red-and-black checkerboard pattern brings up vague memories of Alice in Wonderland) is a fitted, set-in sleeve pullover enlivened with two colors and Fair Isle bands. Don’t shy away if you’ve never tried stranded colorwork before. The pattern is simple enough to be your first try at this technique. Body and sleeves are knit in the round to the armholes, so there is minimal seaming and all the colorwork is done the easy way, with no purling back!

Finished bust 34 (38.5, 43, 47)“ / 86 (98, 109, 120) cm.
