I love bows/bow ties and I have long hair (admittedly I even am somewhat vain about my hair) – so what could be better than make bow-y things for my hair?!

This for example is a really cool pattern for a real bow tie (Bowtie by Erin Ruth) that you can use as Alice band but you have to bind it yourself – a challenge for the days you’ve not rolled out of bed five minutes before you have to leave the house.

I tried to come up with a pattern that wouldn’t be too hard to make,
look sophisticated and would allow for instant cuteness.

I’m looking forward to seeing what you think/make! <3
